If you have only one day, or even one afternoon to spend in Vancouver, go to Stanley Park.  It is one of the largest urban parks in North America, with 1,000 acres of woodlands, gardens, trails, flowers, lakes, beaches and wildlife. After compiling a couple of articles concerning Victoria B.C. and things to do, museums, shopping and dining, I thought it would also be interesting and entertaining to address Victoria’s ghostly nature. The Othello Tunnels are well known in the Hope area and are a part of the Kettle Valley route. The tunnels are also known at the Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park. The tunnels turned walking trail are part of the abandoned railway tunnels through the mountains of the canyon. The circle walk is easy with a 6 km length or just to walk and view the tunnels and perhaps catch a glimpse of the salmon running will only take 1 hour. This is a must see in the area.

A lot of attention is paid to Vancouver‘s downtown, but just over the Burrard Street Bridge in the Kitsilano neighbourhood is a bike/walk that allows visitors and locals to enjoy beaches and views. The Lighthouse at on Point Atkinson was built in 1874 and its preservation left us a legacy of trails that take you to a spectacular view of the Strait of Georgia and Howe Sound.
