- Bard to Broadway
The 2009 season will be B2B’s 10th year. Enjoy theatre under the big tent all summer. The company presents 4 plays continously all summer long. This is the 7th year of operation and the plays have been playing to sell out crowds since its inception. - The Old School House Gallery and Art Centre
The Old School House is a hot bed of the best of Vancouver Island art. In addtion to ever changing shows of the work of BC artists, there are several working studios including a Bonsai master. There is also a well stocked gift shop for those souvenirs of Oceanside. Admission by donation. - Communities in Bloom
Stroll the streets of Qualicum Beach and enjoy the floral displays of the town. Qualicum Beach has won top honours in provincial, national and international in the Communities in Bloom competitions for the last 6 years. They have also won top honours for floral displays in a community as awarded by the National Capital Commission. The community is truly the prettiest in Canada, if not the world. - Milner Gardens and Qualicum Heritage Forest
Enjoy the beauty of Milner Gardens and Woodland. Set on the sea on the outskirts of Qualicum Beach this garden is owned by Malaspina University (now called Vancouver Island University) and maintained by a small staff and a cadre of dedicated volunteers. It is renowned for its huge selection of Rhododendrons. Tea is also served on the porch or in the tea room of the lovely house. Admission is $10/pQualicum Heritage Forest is located in the heart of Qualicum Beach. There is a maze of paths throughout welcoming and revitalizing all who wander them. No entry charge.
