Escape Vancouver Completely (by way of North Vancouver) Without Touching a Car
Part 5 of 5 – The Pinnacle at the Pier
After a fun time with the Night Market (part 4 of this series), it was time to put our feet up. My primary reason for picking the The Pinnacle in North Vancouver was the location. Due to not having a car for this adventure, I desired walking distance from the Seabus. And this place was really close.
One thing I’ve noticed in the last 3 years is that the hotel rates in the Vancouver area have gone nuts. This explains why AirBnB is so popular but all in all it doesn’t make sense. The problem is that I honestly was expecting a bigger room for the money.
You can’t complain about the view, however.
It was clean and it was quiet and was perfect for our needs.
In the morning we had a decent breakfast in the lobby restaurant and the hotel did have a $10 off coupon that brought the price of the meal into the realm of reasonable.
All too soon it was time to head back on the Seabus and back to reality. But, the mission to chill out without driving? Accomplished!
