Summer may be over, but the fall season of music has just begun. Check out these fantastic October music performances to keep the winter blues at bay.
The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra has a number of performances lined up for their Fall Season.
Music from the War Era: Great British Classics will be performed at the Orpheum Theatre on October.4th at 8 pm, October.5th at 2 pm, and October.6th at 8 pm. Principal Cello Ariel Barnes will be making his VSO concerto debut with a performance of Elgar’s Cello Concerto.

VSO Chamber Players: Vivaldi, Farr & Kodaly will be performing at Pyatt Hall, VSO School of Music on October. 9th at 7:30 pm, and October.12th at 2 pm. Performers will include violinists Jennie Press and Karen Gerbrecht.

To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles landmark concert in Vancouver, the VSO will be presenting Classical Mystery Tour: The Music of The Beatles. Classical Myster, a top Beatles Tribute band, will be performing live with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and conductor Gordon Gerrard at the Orpheum Theatre on October. 8th at 8 pm.

PAL Studio Theatre and Cellar Live proudly present the award winning Jazz vocalist Jaclyn Guillou in her CD release, Winter for Beginners. Special Guests include Peggy Lee and Brad Turner Trio.
