Pane from Heaven in Kitsilano

It can be a challenge to find a good lunch spot that serves a nice cup of coffee that compliments a good meal. I was strolling the streets of Kitsilano one afternoon looking for a place like this, when I spied a little cafe called Pane from Heaven. It was located on a nice, quiet street away from the main traffic, and there were tables outside you could sit at to enjoy the pleasant weather as you had your lunch. The lunch and coffee specials listed on the sign outside looked promising, and the prices looked reasonable, so I decided to give it a try.
There was a wide variety of lunch items to choose from in the display case, such as lasagna, home made soup, chicken curry pie, and fruit salad to name a few. There were many healthy food options on the menu, as well as an assortment of chocolate baked goodies for any sweet cravings. The tuna salad panini I had was very delicious, and the anticipated cafe mocha I ordered along with it was not a disappointment. The mocha was chocolatey without being overly sweet, and the tree drawn on the top with steamed milk was a lovely touch. I left with a satisfied stomach and a well needed, caffeinated skip in my step.
If you’re craving a pleasant lunch with a good cup of coffee, consider giving Pane from Heaven a try.
